Throughout the Programme there are various ways in which the development of skills will be monitored including Role Play Observation, Self evaluation, Peer Group Evaluation, Observation in Service and Written work through Self Study. On completion of the Programme participants will be issued with a certificate and a statement which confirms their continued aptitude for mediation. At this point they will be in a position to work towards recognition as a Competent Mediator, an assessment process managed by the UK College of Family Mediators. Key Mediation makes every effort to ensure that its courses are well organised, offered in an environment conducive to training and with clear information about location. Each participant will be given a trainee manual containing basic knowledge requirements and additional handouts. They will also be directed to other useful and relevant reading materials.
